Khat is an Arabic term that dictates the manifestation of lines. It is represented in the art of Arabic calligraphy that arrived upon the emergence of Islam. Using a traditional hand-carved bamboo or reed pen and inkwell, participants will learn how to write in Arabic practice a set of alphabet and words.
