Come and watch the screening of the King Hu Wuxia Classics 'Dragon Inn', as part of the Singapore Chinese Film Festival.
Dragon Gate Inn, also known as Dragon Inn, is a 1967 Taiwanese wuxia film directed by King Hu. The story started of when Tsao, the emperor's first eunuch successfully bested General Yu, his political opponent and led to the beheading of the general. The general's children was exiled out of China, however, in the process , the eunuch had plot an assassination of the general's children. Eunuch Tsao's men lie in ambush at the desolate Dragon Gate Inn. Not known to Tsao's men was that the innkeeper, Wu Ning, was one of the general's lieutenants and has summoned martial arts expert Hsiao to help the children. A brother and sister, offspring of general Yu's other lieutenant showed up to help and they led the general's children to safety.
