Watch out for the screening of A Touch of Zen as part of the Singapore Chinese Film Festival.

A Touch of Zen is a 1971 Taiwanese wuxia film directed by King Hu. The story starts of about Ku, who is a well-meaning but unambitious scholar who paints and writes for a living. However though, he has a tendency towards being clumsy and ineffectual. He fells towards a female fugitive Yang and together they plot against the corrupt Eunuch Wei, who wants to eradicate Yangs family after her father attempted to warn the Emperor of the eunuch's illegal deeds.
