Ferry and Cherie Ko

Ferry and Cherie Ko

Jean Low (Giants Must Fall) and Cherie Ko (Obedient Wives Club / Pastelpower / Bored Spies) are independent musicians with distinctive styles. Sharing a mutual love for dreampop and ethereal soundscapes, the duo performs a set of co-written original compositions and covers by artists such as Gnarls Barkley, Toro y Moi and Frida Sundemo. Sit back and wind down as you enjoy their reverb-laden vocal harmonies, ambient guitar looping and sleek electronic beats.

Ferry is one who exists as a mystery, elusive; aloof, teasing the curiosity, changing the mind. The solo project of Jean Low, lead singer and guitarist of local band Giants Must Fall, Ferry is the creative output of a very diverse, sometimes confused individual who just likes to make things look and sound pretty.

Cherie Ko is an independent musician who has many divided personalities in the local music scene. She plays lead guitar for ‘60s-inspired fuzz pop band Obedient Wives Club, fronts the band Bored Spies and also has a solo electronic project called Pastelpower. Prior to these, she was making bedroom covers of songs on YouTube under the username ‘talktothewalls’.
