Witness one of the most prolific classical saxophonists from Singapore, Leslie Wong Kang Ho, as he serenades you at The Arts House this May.
Leslie Wong has performed with various musical groups in Singapore and abroad such as Academics Festival Orchestra, Changrai Youth Orchestra, Singapore Jazz Orchestra, the SAF Music and Drama Company and the University of Wyoming Wind Ensemble. He had worked with famed singer Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, conductors Julian Reynolds, William Johnson, Toshio Akimaya, Toru Miura and composer Eric Whitacre. Leslie co-founded the Amigo Saxophone Quartet in 2008, a group which has performed educational tours since 2009.
As a deeply devoted pedagogue, Leslie is currently the lecturer of saxophone at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts. He also serves as a coach to the saxophone section of various secondary school bands in Singapore and maintains an active private saxophone studio. Leslie is a Selmer Paris Artist and plays on Selmer Paris saxophones exclusively. With his excellent achievements and background, you sure are in for a treat this May.
