2015 marks the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and the liberation of Singapore.

Join in and listen to Mr Mok Ly Yng, a freelance mapping consultant and researcher in Singapore, who will be giving a presentation on the organisation of worldwide mapping efforts by the British and American mapping agencies during the war.

The role of the British Empire wide mapping agencies will be introduced. Singapore’s military mapping during WWII will be viewed from this global perspective.
