From Past to Present at Phoenix Park

From Past to Present at Phoenix Park

For the first time in Singapore’s history, the doors will be opened for public tours of Phoenix Park – the hexagonal black and white bungalow at Tanglin Road which housed many of Singapore’s biggest secrets.

Nickamed 'Little Whitehall of the East', Phoenix Park was once the headquarters of the British military and later home to Singapore’s Ministry of Home Affairs and Internal Security Department. From 1949 to 2002, decisions were made between the walls at Phoenix Park which changed the course of Singapore’s history.

In the year of Singapore’s 50th anniversary, come and explore Phoenix Park’s rich history and see the influence it had in Singapore’s development as an independent nation, as well as its impact far beyond Singapore’s borders.
