Award-winning Master Storyteller Jim Weiss will be staging three separate storytelling performances in Singapore at the Chamber at The Arts House.

Master Storyteller Jim Weiss

Master storyteller Jim Weiss has captivated and delighted audiences young and old with his original stories and retellings of ancient and modern classics. His recordings have been widely praised in major publications internationally. To date, Jim has recorded over 50 Greathall recordings and has received more than 100 awards in the States.

To hear Jim tell a story is to become swept into the tale, and it is no wonder that children leave the storyteller’s circle determined to recreate the drama in their own creative play. Jim’s tales encourage children to read original classical literature on their own or with the help of the more experienced readers in their lives.

Jim has hosted and starred in a PBS television pilot that won a Northern California Emmy for “Best Children’s Show,” and performed at The White House Annual Easter Event. He has received many recognitions and endorsements for what he is doing and that includes an endorsement from CNN TV Morning News, “Jim Weiss’s voice is liquid gold”.
