The Arts House swings its doors wide open this March in celebration of the arts!

There will be talks about film, literature, writing and illustrating. Ian Tan will present a refreshing workshop that delves into the relationship between literature and film. Learn how film can be used to illuminate poetic themes and vice versa. Readers’ Club Vasagar Vattam will discuss on how local folklores chronicle changes in social, economic and political outlooks of Singapore. Sean Lee and 33 will share their journeys and anecdotes from their experiences as writers and illustrators.

A workshop on theatre and music where participants can act out the narratives of short stories from the Ethos Collection. An interactive seminar for parents of young children on how they can use bedtime stories to develop their children's creative imagination and thinking skills. Hassan Hasaa'Ree Ali will lead a workshop on the fundamentals of short story. Workshops on bookbinding, storytelling, graphic novel, play reading will also be introduced.
