The Braddell Heights Symphony Orchestra celebrates Singapore's 50th year of independence with a tribute to our pioneer composer Mr. Leong Yoon Pin with a complete performance of his Second Symphony composed in 1979 based on the poetic sentiments of the Tang Dynasty poet Li-Bo.

The program will also include incidental music composed for Ibsen's play 'Peer Gynt' by the Norwegian composer Edvard Grieg and feature the Singapore Symphony Orchestra's Principal Tubist, Hidehiro Fujita performing Richard Strauss' Horn Concerto No. 1 in Eb on the solo Tuba in place of the solo French Horn for which it was written.
