Make a date with Tchaikovksy, Piazzolla and Mike Mower this Valentine’s Day as we bring you some of the most romantic chamber music. Souvenir de Florence was written by Tchaikovsky in 1887 and was so named due to his love for the Italian city. Composed in 1986, it was Piazzolla’s passion for tango music that gave rise to History of the Tango. Mike Mower’s passion for Latin rhythms and tunes led him to compose Sonata Latino in 1994 and it has remained popular with audiences around the world.
