The three award-winning movies which will be screened are:

When they discover that Yem, a distant relative, has been cheating them of money, they cut him off and Yem plots revenge. Meanwhile, in the city, their daughter Orked, is being wooed by a young man, Yasin. Runtime: 90 minutes

2. Mukhsin – Twelve-year-old boy Mukhsin visits 10-year-old Orked’s village with his older brother and aunt to spend his school holidays. Mukhsin and Orked become sweethearts; their love story unfolds against the idyllic background of Malaysian village life. Runtime: 90 minutes

3. Talentime – A music teacher organises an interschool talent contest. Characters get embroiled in a world of heightened emotions, ambition, jealousy, heartbreak and romance which culminate in a day of music and performances on the contest day. Run time: 120 minutes.
