The 35th edition of International Museum Day takes place this Saturday on May 19.
More than 30,000 museums in around 100 countries will hold special activities to celebrate this year’s theme of “Museums in a Changing World; New challenges, new inspirations”.
Singapore’s no different and as a way to mark the event, we round up the top 5 museum programmes that you should look out for, happening in and around our island’s cultural and historical institutions this weekend.
Engage in a range of contemporary artworks from both Singaporean and international artists that will appeal to both the young and old. Returning for its third year, the exhibition will also include a screening of short films and animations in conjunction with the ‘N.E.mation!’ competition.
