April Fun for Kids!

The school holidays may be over, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to stop!

With TWO long weekends coming up this month, there’s plenty of time to get out. We’ve assembled a list of the coolest, most fun activities for the whole family, so read on!

CAN'T MISS

It’s Family Sunday at the Singapore Art Museum (Apr 17, Sun). And what better way to spend the day than to start your kids early with art appreciation as you tour the exhibitions with knowledgeable guides! Afterwards, create crafts or assemble a journal with the whole family.

If your kids like theatre, don’t miss Todd The Big Green Frog (Apr 7-9, Thur-Sat). Join Todd and his friends on their big pond adventure at the Esplanade Recital Studio. More drama awaits in the form of Journey to the West (Apr 9, Sat). Follow the exploits of the legendary Monkey King with the whole family.

For the eco-friendly kid, check out Candy Cone Hat Eco-workshops (until Apr 10) where they’ll learn how to recycle sweet wrappers and party hats into… candy cone hats!

Follow up on that sweet tooth with the ever-popular Ben & Jerry’s Free Cone Day (Apr 12, Tue), or allow for some father-and-kid bonding time at the Dad and Kids Breakfast Class (Apr 30, Sat) for a lovely Mother’s Day surprise.

Instead of the zoo, why not “interact” with animal robots at the Robot Zoo exhibition (until April 15) where the little ones can increase their understanding of the different animals. Round up the activities with popular cross talk writer Victor Tan as he portrays laughing matters (Apr 15-16, Fri-Sat) through the eyes of the young and young-at-heart.

What a lineup! Are you guys excited? Never run out of ideas on things to do again with our comprehensive events calendar. Now, all you need to do is start planning, and get going! Have fun, everyone!

Also, don't miss our activity-packed Easter guide, out shortly! Do remember to check back for it, and in the meantime have a ball of a time!
