The biggest event of the year is back! Formula 1 promises to titillate with a sizzling lineup plenty of thrills and spills. Apart from the races, there’s also plenty to do in the vicinity. We’ll show you where to go for the best parties and entertainment.
So don’t hold back, buckle up and get ready for the ride of your life!
Want to rub shoulders with F1 drivers, celebrities and socialites? Head on down then to the super exclusive Amber Lounge, which is well-known for catering to the VIP strata of society, or check out the Podium Lounge (see how you can win free passes here!), where post party people get an opportunity to walk away with F1 memorabilia. For a bird’s eye view of the races (and an unparalled view of the stars – both literal and figuratively) with one of Ku De Ta’s exclusive F1 packages (check out our sneak peek here).

Music lovers are spoilt for choice this year with not one but two major music festivals coming our way! If you’re going to the F1 races, you’re also entitled free entry to LG Live, which features a dazzling star-studded lineup like Mariah Carey, Missy Elliott, Daughtry and Adam Lambert (check out our preview here). Alternatively, Avalon GO! holds its own with music superstars Flo Rida, the Chemical Brothers and Santigold (don’t miss our writeup here).
For something a little off the track (i.e. out of the area), head down to Zouk for an all-star celebrity DJ weekend starting with Martin Solveig (interview here!) on Friday Sept 24, followed by Tiga on Saturday Sept 25 (interview out soon!) and closing with a special guest DJ at their Chequered Flag party on Sunday, Sept 26.
Looking for something the whole family can enjoy? Head on down to Orchard Road for a day of F1-inspired fun at Rev Up, which boasts the longest street car parade, a carnival, exhibition and even a Go-Kart challenge! Alternatively, there’s always the Changi GP Festival (which our very own Amos endorses!) where your little owns can ‘race’ to their hearts’ delight.
For something a little unusual at night, don’t miss Digital Nights along Orchard and the Singapore Art Museum (check out our preview here). The various installations not only arouse curiosity and participation, they also help to educate children to appreciate modern art.

If you’re just looking for a place to escape the F1 madness, head on down to Sentosa on Saturday for some good old-fashioned Car-nival fun at the Tanjong Beach Club. Sun, sand, sea and some good live music will make you feel as if the race cars are a thousand miles away.
