Adrenaline junkies, take note. Universal Studio Singapore will re-open its Battlestar Galactica: Human vs Cylon rollercoaster ride in early 2015.
Many theme park-goers have sighed and waited forlornly after the closure of the popular ride in 2013, when it was reported that it faced tracks problem.
Travelling as fast as 90km/h, the ride features spine-chilling sharp turns and vertical loops. The revamped version will have two-seater vehicles instead of four-seater ones.

John Hallenbeck, senior vice president of attractions at Resorts World Sentosa, said that the new roll-out will “allow riders to feel closer to the experience”.
There will be a suspended Cylon coaster and a conventional Human coaster rocketed at high speed, chasing the opposing coasters through a myriad of loops and inversions.
The ride is now undergoing routine testing before it reopens next year, and the launch date will be announced soon.
The theme park will also be introducing Puss in Boots’ Giant Journey, a new floorless rollercoaster ride that takes flight based on the movie 'Puss in Boots'.
