X-Men: Days Of Future Past(2014)
- RatedPG13 /GenreAction, Adventure, Fantasy
Unless you've been living under a rock this whole time, 2014 is the year of the superhero movie (as in every year).
With 'Captain America: The Winter Soldier' already kicking its way in the box office and the recent 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' fan event recently in Singapore, things are off to a good start.
Possibly this year's biggest superhero ensemble movies is none other than Bryan Singer's 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' which opens in cinemas on 22 May.
The director recently released a bunch of featurettes online featuring a behind-the-scenes look at the movie as well as packed with clips and interviews with the cast.
But we do have to warn you that there are quite a few spoilers in there.
Based on the famous arc from the comics, 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' begins in an apocalyptic future where the surviving members of the titular team must live in hiding due to the Sentinels, an army of mutant-hunting robots trained to destroy every member of Homo superior.
Desperate for a way to change the world, the X-Men devise a plan to send the consciousness of Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) back in time to 1973. Once there, he must not only reunite young Professor X (James McAvoy) and Magneto (Michael Fassbender), but also stop an event that ushers in the rein of the Sentinels.
The awesome ensemble cast also includes Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sir Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian McKellen, Halle Berry, Shawn Ashmore, Ellen Page, Daniel Cudmore, Adan Canto, Peter Dinklage, Omar Sy, Booboo Stewart, Evan Peters, Josh Helman, and Fan Bing Bing.
