CAN'T MISS

The parade opens with spectacular 88m-long twin Flying Dragons crowning our skies, rising majestically to a height of 40m above ground! Followed by a dragon entwined with firecrackers, this is a historical moment across both Singapore ad China.

Foreign highlights including enigmatic Indonesian dancers, Danish gymnasts, traditional Egyptian dance, and others from Germany, Taiwan, Japan and Mexico!

Flying Dragons

Singapore is also well-represented with a stunning presentation of Chinese cultures including the winner to The Next Teresa Teng singing competition perched atop a lotus float, as well as the Malay Cultural Contingent, followed by a fascinating display of Indian performers including towering pyramids, puppets and a giant peacock float.

Beauty of Taiwan Cheerleading Performance

Things finish with a grand flourish as a 2000-strong contingent of hip hop youths, followed by the heart-warming ceremony of ‘Passing On the Lamp’, which is sung to its own soul-stirring anthem. Witness 4000 lamps being raised by performers, and many more held by audiences on-site against the spectacular backdrop of the night skies!

The Pageant of Sri Lanka

Hankering for more? There’s always heart-thumping after-party City Alive!, Singapore’s largest street party, to groove away the wee hours of the night to!
