Graffiti artists, breakdancers and other dance enthusiasts have been assembling at *Scape on Orchard Road, as part of this year’s Radikal Forze Jam x *Scapedance.
Gunning to be one of Asia-Pacific’s largest festivals that brings together dance, music and street culture, it is expecting about 6,000 participants by the time it wraps on Sunday 22 March 2015.
Felix Huang, director of Recognize Studios and leader of the Radikal Forze crew, welcomes everyone to “bask in the atmosphere of urban art-form exchange”.
There will be three festival highlights to catch over the weekend:
'The RedBull BC One Singapore Cypher'
This annual contest will have 16 of the best b-boys (breakdancers) from Singapore competing in front of a star-studded panel featuring RedBull BC One All Star Taisuke Nonaka from Japan, American dancer Bounce, and Singaporean dancer True Color$.
The winner will get to represent the nation in the Asia-Pacific finals, which will give them a shot at making it at the world finals stage in Rome, Italy later this year.

'Summer Jam Dance Camp'
Dancers from all over the world will come together to receive the tutelage of star dance-mentors such as Lyle Beniga from the US, Japanese choreographer and dancer Taisuke, and dance duo Keone and Mariel Madrid, who have worked with South Korean acts such as BigBang and 2NE1.

Don’t miss thisevent where Singapore graffiti artists look to creatively smear walls outside *Scape. Of the lot, three will be picked to share spray cans with international graffiti artists at 'Graffight World X' later this year.
