Hop, hop hop…Easter is coming! That means Easter eggs, bunny fun and loads of other fantastic activities that are guaranteed to please both young and old alike.

No more fretting about what to do because we’ve done all the work for you! We’ve got a whole list of Easter-themed events and activities below, and that only means loads of fun to occupy your young ones all the way up to the long weekend. Psyched yet? Read on!

CAN'T MISS

For an unbeatable Easter experience, hop on down to Eggmazing Race (Apr 24, Sun) for a wild Easter-bunny-themed obstacle race! Teams of two complete a series of Easter-themed challenges, and attractive prizes await the winners (Suitable for kids 4 and above).

For something a little milder, Downtown East also has an Easter Children Egg Hunt on Good Friday, where kids can anticipate a good old-fashioned outdoor egg hunt.

Fancy your own Flopsy, Mopsy or Cottontail? Make your very own Cotton Bunny friend at the Jacob Ballas Children’s garden (Apr 16, Sat) using cotton and recycled materials. Almost as good as the real deal and ten times less maintenance! (Suitable for kids aged 5 – 12)

For the sweet-toothed young ‘uns, don’t miss the Egg Muffin Workshop (Apr 10, Sun) or the Chocolate Lollipop Workshop (Apr 23-24, Sat-Sun) where your kids’ creations can be taken home and shared with the whole family.

Kids who enjoy decorating their own Easter eggs should definitely head on down to the Egg D’cor workshops for kids (Apr 9-17) and for toddlers (Apr 17, Sun, fee inclusive of 1 child and 1 parent) respectively.

Lastly, for a more unusual momento, check out the DIY Keychain workshop (Apr 23, Sat) for lots of inspiration.

Tons of Easter fun to be had--rain or shine! So get ready, get up and be prepared to hop, hop hop all the way down to a jam-packed holiday weekend. Need more ideas? We've also got an Easter Staycation guide,  an Easter party guide for all you nightowls, on top of our usual weekend guide and Fun for Free guide.
