First Look: 'Godzilla' stomps online with new trailer

The full trailer for 'Godzilla' has been unleashed and the massive creature has left a path of destruction in its wake.

Directed by Gareth Edwards ('Monsters'), the new trailer reveals more of the premise of the movie and it seems that we just might get the 'Godzilla' movie we've been waiting for after 1998's disappointment.

In the trailer, we get to see more of Bryan Cranston’s physicist Joe Brody as he demands an explanation for the destruction cause.

"Look, you are not fooling anybody when you say that what happened 15 years ago was a natural disaster alright,” Brody said in the trailer.

"It was not an earthquake, it wasn't a typhoon, ok, you're lying, because what's really happening is that you're hiding something out there. And it’s going to send us back to the Stone Age,” he continued.

‘Godzilla’ fans will also get to see a little nod to Toho’s original where Ken Watanabe’s character said, “In 1954 we awakened something.” This is in reference to the year that the Japanese film studio released the original movie.

The movie which opens in cinemas 15 May, also stars Aaron-Taylor Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen and Sally Hawkins.
