It seems that not everyone is a fan of Steve Jobs in first trailer for the new movie about the Apple co-founder.
“What do you do? You’re not an engineer. You’re not a designer. You can’t put a hammer to a nail. I built the circuit board. The graphical interface was stolen. So how come, 10 times in a day, I read Steve Jobs is a genius. What do you do?” asks Seth Rogen’s Steve Wozniak to Michael Fassbender’s Jobs.
“Musicians play their instruments. I play the orchestra,” Fassbender’s Jobs retorted. “You had three weeks; the universe was created in a third of that time,” he later tells an employee about solving a problem.
Universal recently released the first trailer for Danny Boyle's 'Steve Jobs', with a script from Aaron Sorkin — adapted from Walter Isaacson’s best-selling biography 'Steve Jobs'. The movie is set to open here in 21 January 2016.
The nearly three-minute trailer depicts Jobs as a demanding megalomaniac who steals the glory from his Apple co-founder, Steve Wozniak; amasses millions in wealth while his daughter Lisa and her mother scrape by on welfare; and gets booted from the company he led, before returning to start a digital revolution.
Kate Winslet plays ex-Macintosh marketing chief Joanna Hoffman, while Jeff Daniels portrays former Apple CEO John Sculley.
The film also stars Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan, Jobs’ ex-girlfriend, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, one of the original members of the Apple Macintosh development team.
