Ignite Your Love For Music!

Catch all the action at IGNITE! streamed LIVE  on our website!

An annual music festival that is spearheaded by students, IGNITE! promises an awesome line-up of local music this July 1-2 at Republic Polytechnic.

It’s even touted as one of the largest music festivals in Singapore, showcasing local talents and musicians. Over the years, more than 20,000 people have enjoyed and been part of the festival. The event, which happens annually since 2008, is all about passion and compassion, where people come together to raise awareness for charity services to children and animals.

This year’s programme includes a wider variety of music genres that catered to the different musical palates.

Bands like Giants Must Fall, Barricade, Sixx, Inch Chua and Typewriter will headline Friday while West Grand Boulevard, Caracal, Fatskunks and Plainsunset will set the stage ablaze on Saturday.

It’s also not all about music at IGNITE! You can do your part for charity by shaving your hair! ‘Hair for Hope’, organised by the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) is an annual event involving volunteers shaving their heads to show support for children with cancer, and raising funds through monetary pledges.  IGNITE! Music Festival has pledged their support as one of the participating festivals for ‘Hair for Hope’.
