Music, art and more this weekend

Train has been to Singapore before, but this time they’re here for a full-fledge concert. The Californian band will be serenading audiences with older hits like “Drops of Jupiter” to current hits such as “Drive By” If your father is a fan, take him along as a father’s day gift!

So much art and so little time… we’ve rounded up five art exhibitions in June so you can spend your weekends away from crowded shopping malls.

Do your part for charity while contributing to a good cause. Local thespians have organised We Heart Emma” to celebrate the life of the late Emma Yong. All proceeds will go to the “Emma Yong Fund” so doing a good deed is as easy as purchasing a ticket to be entertained. Find out more here.

Treat your kids to a Gazillion Bubble Show where Fan Yang and his daughter work some lasers and special effects to put up a spectacular, new 3D Cosmic Laser Bubble show that has been five years in the making. Find out more here.

Inject more colours into your child’s life – literally – with Colors from the Heart: painting workshop. There, your little ones can let their creativity flow without you having to worry about damaging your walls. Canvases will be provided and your little one will be taught some techniques. By signing your child up for this workshop, you’re also contributing to the Business Times Budding Artist Fund to help disadvantaged children and youths.

Singapore has never seen so much K-pop royalty before... Scream along with the masses at the Singapore Indoor Stadium, the venue of Boyz Nite Out, a one-night only concert with performances by SHINee, Teen Top, B1A4, Jay Park and freshly debuted 7.9.4.2.

The school holidays have not ended yet so if your children might be bugging you to take them out, get some ideas here!
