Admit it. We’ve got a secret inclination for fast cars. We gave Fast & Furious four sequels and if you look under the hood of the movie world’s bad-ass car movies we’ve got flicks such as The Italian Job, Transformers, Gone in 60 Seconds, The French Connection, and of course Cars!
This November, another high-octane super-charged stomper will zoom into the silver screens. The latest flick to join the list of steering wheel cinema is simply titled Drive.
Ryan Gosling stars as a Hollywood stunt driver, a man who prefers to live by his own rules and moonlights as one of the best getaway drivers-for-hire in the criminal underworld. But when he’s called in to do a job for the husband of his beautiful neighbour Irene (Carey Mulligan), he suddenly finds himself the target of some very dangerous men.
The trailer is very intense and it basically sums up what this movie is about: That Gosling is a bad-ass driver—turning his sweet black Mustang into a graceful dancer on asphalt.
Drive is slated to open in theatres Nov 3, 2011.
