New teaser sheds light into ‘Star Trek Into Darkness’

A teaser trailer for JJ Abrams’ upcoming ‘Star Trek’ movie has just hit the web.

Chillingly narrated by TV's 'Sherlock' Benedict Cumberbatch, – possibly as the iconic ‘Trek’ villain Khan – the trailer sheds lights on some of the plotlines of the much-awaited movie.

Following scenes of futuristic London and San Francisco, Cumberbatch’s character says, “You think your world is safe, but this is an illusion. A comforting lie told to protect you. Enjoy these final moments of peace. For I have returned to have my vengeance.”

The trailer then goes on to show glimpses of the Earth under attack, and Chris Pine’s Captain Kirk and his crew watch on in horror.

The actual identity of Cumberbatch’s villain is still a mystery, but you can expect to see much of the original cast from the 2009 like Captain Kirk (Chris Pine), Spock (Zachary Quinto) and Uhura (Zoe Saldana).
