DramaFest

The hall residents of the National University of Singapore put on a show with six short plays, as they try their hand at acting, directing and playwriting. Free admission.

Monday only, at University Cultural Centre Theatre.

 

Living with... Tze Trio

Join composer-pianist Tze and his trio for this evening of musical exploration. The trio’s influences are wide-ranging, including gospel, Eastern music, classical, modern bebop and film scores. Tickets at $15.

Puccini's La Boheme

Puccini’s fourth opera, La Boheme, gets the Singapore Lyric Opera treatment, as it plays at the Esplanade Theatre. It traces the story of a quartet of artists living in Paris, and the love affair of Mimi and Rodolfo, who will be played by Nancy Yuen and Kota Murakami respectively. Tickets from $15 to $130.

L'heure Zéro (Towards Zero)

A humourless old lady is killed and suspicion rests upon the summer guests at her seaside home. The police close in and start to unravel the layers obscuring the truth. Based on the murder mystery novel of the same title by Agatha Christie.

Art in the City

The inaugural exhibition of the Art in the City project is the Take a Moment sculpture show, which features sculptures of nine Korean and Singaporean artists in the Fullerton Heritage Precinct, an area that includes the Fullerton Hotel, One Fullerton, Clifford Square and Clifford Pier.

Until 31 March, at The Fullerton Heritage Precinct.

 

 

Big Night Out

A one-night-only concert event featuring the rock band Muse as headliners and Rise Against and Saosin as the supporting acts. Tickets from $98 to $168.

Transfiguration
