The cheeky chappies of One Direction - Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan - have had a meteoric rise since being third place finishers in the UK’s ‘The X Factor’ in 2010.
The boys also recorded a special message for their fans in Singapore
Hand picked and put together by Simon Cowell at the boot camp stage of the reality singing show, the quintet released three albums back to back, namely 'Up All night' (2011), 'Take Me Home' (2012) and 'Midnight Memories' (2013).
They have gone on to sell in excess of 36 millions of albums, singles and DVDs, and have raked in everything from BRIT awards to MTV Awards.
They also became the first ever band to have their first three albums debut at number one in the US Billboard Chart, hitting the top spot in a further 30 countries worldwide.
Other than a worldwide legion of ‘Directioners’ as fans, in just three years, they’ve notched up and impressive 61 number one songs including ‘What Makes You Beautiful’ and ‘Best Song Ever’.
