After months of anticipation, we’ve finally receive news that super-clubs Pangaea and Avalon, will finally be opening its doors at the Crystal Pavillion, Marina Bay Sands this July.
Just in time for the F1 race this September, the two super swanky clubs promise to ramp up Singapore’s nightlife glam factor several notches skywards with its mix of sexy music, celebrities and glamour. Up-market ultra-lounge Pangaea, fronted by American nightlife veteran Michael Ault ruled the nightlife scene in cities such as New York, Miami and London over the past decade, attracting A-listers and celebs from around the country.
Avalon, on the other hand, made its name in New York and Hollywood as one of the IT dance clubs of the cities. Avalon is the brainchild of American nightlife impresario Steve Adelman who was also responsible for seminal dance clubs The Roxy, Tunnel and Limelight in New York City. Most recently, local punters got a taste of what to expect at Avalon last September when the club hosted a two-night dance festival featuring DJs such as The Chemical Brothers, Steve Aoki and Above & Beyond.
Housed inside the distinctive southern Crystal Pavilion, Pangaea will occupy the first level of the 558 square meters space and hold up to 400 revellers at any one time, while Avalon will spread itself across two levels and more than 1,115 square meters.
With Avalon and Pangaea, along with Ku De Ta on the Sands SkyPark, Marina Bay Sands now have three distinct nightlife offerings that will definitely put Singapore on the global clubbing circuit as well as reenergize the scene.
Pangaea and Avalon will open this July at the Crystal Pavilion, Marina Bay Sands.
