Reunite with Andy, Dicky, Edmond and William!

This weekend, nostalgia rules the roost with celebrated superstars from both East and West descend upon our shores to rock this town. Go retro with aplomb, we dare you to!

CAN'T MISS

Move aside, Paris and Nicole. Celebrity rivalry is just so passé, as evidenced by the firm friendship between Andy Hui. Dicky Cheung, Edmond Leong and William So. All prominent singers/ actors in their own right, they’ve decided to seal their friendship of over 20 years by appearing together to perform…for you!

Hurry up and get tickets for the Big Four World Tour while they’re still available, we hear their 5-night concert in Hong Kong sold out within hours of ticket launch!

On the other side of town, Retrolicious captures the imagination of the Mambo Jambo crowd with familiar favorites from Johnny Hates Jazz, Debbie Gibson and Rick Astley (read his interview here). Dress your 80s best and win a chance at prizes from Topshop and Topman, among others! If this isn’t getting you to rush for your tickets, perhaps the trailers in our preview guide will.

While you’re in a nostalgic mood, check out vintage threads and more at not one, but two fantastic flea markets happening this weekend. Choose between FleaFlyFloFun at the National Arts Gallery, or 10-10: The Green Carpet Edition for your lazy afternoon of shopping for pre-loved gems.

If you’re in the mood for something more cultural, check out the Rasas Dances at the Esplanade, where there’ll be both graceful Thai dances and dramatic Bali dances on this weekend.

To round up your weekend, drop by Art Seasons Gallery for :phunkTanaamiX, the follow-up to the highly successful collaboration between local creative ingénues :phunk studio and celebrated Japanese animation artist Keiichi Tanaami, “Eccentric City”.
