DINNER WITH THE FOOTBALLERS
Four lucky SingTel customers who purchase the Samsung Galaxy S5 LTE (from 11 April to 8 May) will get the chance to win a dinner for themselves and a friend with the footballers.
The winners will be announced on May 13 at www.singtel.com/gameon.
THE ULTIMATE SELFIE CHALLENGE
Another way fans can get it on the action is via the ‘Ultimate Selfie Challenge’. From 23 April to 4 May, take a creative selfie while enjoying a popular Singaporean activity and share it via Twitter using the hashtag, #SGGameOn.
Ferdinand and Aguero will then choose their favourite tweet and invite the lucky fan and a friend to join the other winners at the exclusive dinner.
The footballers themselves are getting in on the selfie action with their own challenge. They will also be taking selfies while doing typical Singaporean activities (as suggested by the fans), which will then be posted on their respective Twitter accounts (@aguerosergiokun and @rioferdy5 ).
The activities that have been chosen so far include:
- Singlish chit-chat - the players learn popular uniquely Singapore phrases
- Tai Chi master - the players try their hand at the graceful ancient martial arts exercise
- Hawker heaven - the players sample some of Singapore's favorite hawker dishes at Maxwell Food Centre
- Fancy footwork showdown - the players show-off their amazing ball skills
The player with the most number of retweets wins the challenge.
Watch Ferdinand issue a challenge to Aguero on what they'll be trying out when they're in Singapore next week.
