Most probably know him as the townie in Adam Sandler’s ‘The Waterboy’ who popped the now-infamous line, “You can do it!”
But actor-comedian Rob Scneider is more than just a one-trick pony.
Well known for his trademark blend of character and comedic acting, Schneider has appeared in several of Adam Sandler’s Happy Madison projects, including the ‘Deuce Bigelow’ films, ‘The Waterboy’, ‘Bedtime Stories’, ‘You Don’t Mess With The Zohan’, ‘50 First Dates’ and ‘Little Nicky’.
Fans of Schneider might also remember him "makin' copies" as office worker Richard Laymer on ‘Saturday Night Live’ in the early '90s.
Now, Schneider, 49, wants to be known as a stand-up comedian. The actor who got his big break doing stand-up took a twenty year-long hiatus to concentrate on film but it was his ‘Grown-Ups’ co-star Chris Rock who challenged him to get back on the stage.
The Emmy-nominated actor returns to Singapore with his hilarious new stand up comedy show following his sold out tour in 2011.
Schneider will bring his brand of comedy to the Star Performing Arts Centre on 26 October for a one-night only show.
