Are you easily enchanted by magicians? Experience the delicious thrills of excitement when you watch a flawless magic performance with Explore Singapore!, an ongoing series of performances at various museums over three weekends.
Featuring Singapore’s premier illusionists J C Sum & ‘Magic Babe’ Ning, the programme also includes toy carnivals guided museum tours, open houses and much more! The best part is – it’s all free!

Let your kids be awe-struck in a different fashion at the Festival of the Stars (until Saturday, Nov 20, admission to event is free but usual center charges apply) at the Science Center and Snow City. For young ones fascinated by astronomy, you’ll get a chance to observe Jupiter through a telescope, as well as catch the annual Leonids Meteor Shower. To sweeten the deal, there’ll also be performances, astronomy talks and ice-cream workshops at Snow City.
For parents keen on having a more in-depth bonding session with your kids, the Sleep with the Beasts Family Camp is tailor-made for you (Sat Nov 20 – Sun Nov 21 , S$155 per adult, S$130 per child from 3 to 12 yrs). For the fee, you’ll get to learn all about various animals, indulge in the wildlife atmosphere and camp up underneath a blanket of stars! Do your kids like digging up old things? Round up the week with Tollins – An Explosive Tale by Children (until Sat Nov 19, $26.75), which guarantees to warm the cockle of your hearts with children depicting how a young Tollin saves his kind from becoming fireworks fodder.
