Tarantino's 'The Hateful Eight' rolls into LA

Quentin Tarantino and the cast of 'The Hateful Eight' rode into LA on Monday for the film's world premiere.

The 19th century-set western follows a group of bounty hunters and outlaws stranded in a blizzard.

During the storm, they get involved in a plot of betrayal and deception, meaning only a few survive.

While promoting 'The Hateful Eight', award-winning Tarantino hinted that he would quit Hollywood after making two more films.

"I don't make a movie every year, so probably we are talking about eight years from now. So, we will see what the entertainment industry is like eight years from now. It is not like I'm going to live in a house by myself. I will probably write novels, or write theatre or direct theatre we will see," Tarantino said.

When asked about Tarantino's possible retirement, long-time collaborator Samuel L. Jackson said it would be a loss for future movie fans.

"It would be horrible for some generations. A lot of people would be able to go back and look at the films made. Maybe he will find another venue or another way to use his creative outlet. Maybe he will start writings plays. That would be awesome," Jackson said.

The movie opens in Singapore 21 January 2016
