Marina Bay will be awash in a kaleidoscope of light and colours with the latest edition of i Light Marina Bay (4-27 mar | Marina Bay Waterfront Promenade). Come see more than 20 innovative and sustainable light and art installations from here and around the world, accompanied by boat tours, quirky performances and artists workshops.


Bring out the shapes: Mancunian DJ Trus'Me hosts yet another house and techno rager at our favourite basement club Kyo this weekend.

Easter may be weeks away but that doesn’t mean that you cannot get a head start on some eggs-citing fun. Head over to Universal Studios Singapore with the fam for its annual Easter Eggstravaganza to take part in its egg hunt to win exclusive Minion Easter Eggs and catch Puss In Boot, Kitty Softpaws Grover, Elmo and Humpty Dumpty in Easter-themed costumes.

World-class rugby hits fever pitch as 2016 Super Rugby rumbles into town. Live the action as Japan’s HITA-Com Sunwolves take on the South Africa’s giants Toyota Cheetahs, Vodacom Bulls and DHL Stormers at the National Stadium for the very first time.

Come hear the music of acclaimed composer John Williams, whose compositions for movies like ‘Star Wars’, ‘Jaws’, ‘Jurassic Park’ and ‘Superman’ come to life at The Iconic Film Scores of John Williams - Star Wars and Beyond. A magnificent light and laser display will be programmed to perfectly complement each musical score, and the concert will be conducted by Anthony Inglis, leading the 80-piece Singapore Metropolitan Festival Orchestra.

If you think ballet is too stuffy for you, then check out Don Quixote this weekend. Explore everything silly about this art form (yes, there is!) through the ballet adaptation of the quirky story of Miguel de Cervantes’ delirious knight.

Explore art and the science of experiences at this year’s SingaPlural 2016. Held at the former Beach Road Police Station, the latest edition of the design festival, the anchor festival of Singapore Design Week, features 71 installations and exhibitions, including Scale Up Your Fear by Stickyline, where visitors can make paper cockroaches to place in the installation, and Doors, a maze built from recycled props.

Family friendly play 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favourites' by Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, Canada is back! This magical work of black light theatre brings together the beloved tales of award-winning children’s book illustrator and writer Eric Carle.


Meet your favourite Disney characters including Elsa from ‘Frozen’, Belle from ‘Beauty and The Beast’ and Ariel from ‘The Little Mermaid’ in this edition of Disney on Ice presents Magical Ice Festival.
