For some heart-stopping bare-knuckled mixed martial arts action, head to Singapore Indoor Stadium to catch ONE Welterweight World Champion Ben Askren duke it out with challenger Luis Santos. Also on the Pride of Lionsmain fight card are Thai fighter Dejdamrong Sor Amnuaysirichoke and Brazillian Yago Bryan Farias de Morais.

Asian Civilisations Museum is unveiling its new look this weekend and it has lined up an all-night showcase to celebrate the event. The new riverfront space will include the Khoo Teck Puat Gallery, which will be dedicated to the museum’s Tang Shipwreck collection. It will also include two new restaurants: The casual-dining spot Prive Cafe@ACM, which opens on 20 Oct, and fine-dining restaurant Empress At The ACM, which opens this Saturday.

German techno wunderkind Sascha Ring aka Apparatbrings his bag of tricks to Zouk’s Velvet Underground this Friday. Expect loads of elegiac soundscapes and driving techno rhythms at this gig.

Since its debut in 1988, ‘Beauty World’ has enjoyed multiple iterations on stage and on the big screen. Dick Lee directs this latest edition of the beloved musical comedy set in the mid-1960s. Stars Jeanette Aw, Janice Koh, Timothy Wan, Frances Lee and Joshua Lim.

Hermes' 'Leather Forever'

Fans of leather, luxury and all things Hermes will relish checking out the French label’s ‘Leather Forever’ (through 13 Dec) exhibition at the ArtScience Museum. The show features work from the past and present, including some from its latest collections, all crafted with the finest leather. Also, don’t miss its accompanying pop-up show Little Room of Wonders, out the Asian Civilisations Museum which displays more than 100 objects from the invitation-only private museum of Emile Hermes (the grandson of its founder Thierry Hermes).

Don’t miss Frontier Danceland’s annual year-end production. Milieu 2015 is a collaboration between artistic director Low Mei Yoke and artist Christina Chan. Ho Wen Yang composed the accompanying score with music performed by Ding Yi Music Company.

Relive the ‘90s! One of the highest grossing films of all time, supernatural hit Ghost’ gets reincarnated as a multi-award-nominated musical complete with cool effects to represent the titular spirit protagonist.
