Activities for the family
It’s a double dose of fun and laughter for children this weekend. Super-dee-duper! From 20 to 23 March, join Barney as he makes his Singapore debut at Barney Live Show: Birthday Bash. He will be joined by BJ, Baby Bop and Riff.
Over at Disney On Ice: Treasure Trove, catch your favourite Disney princesses and characters, including Simba, the Seven Dwarves, Peter Pan and The Mad Hatter, as they skate and twirl to sprinkle stardust memories on you. This runs till 23 March.
Need to pick up a new iron or steamer? The Tefal Linen Care Fair runs from 20 March to 30 April, and top-of-the-line products are going at heavily discounted prices. There is a free gift of a travel organiser bag with every purchase of $50 and above. Music & nightlife
Bollywood singer Sunidhi Chauhan brings her enviable repertoire of Bollywood hits to The Esplanade tonight, while guitar maestro Steve Vai takes the stage at the Star Performing Arts Theatre in Buona Vista. This will be the multi-Grammy winner’s third time in Singapore and one lucky fan is getting the chance to jam with him live on stage.
At Home Club, drink in the works of Singapore musicians at its Identite: Blue Hour Sessions tonight. Indie darlings Pleasantry are releasing their second EP, ‘Inhabit’, which explores string arrangements and features guest vocals. Don’t miss this.

West-Londoners White Lies ooze cool Britannia with their post-punk indie rock. They're in Singapore for their first full-length concert on Saturday. Expect arena anthems such as 'Bigger Than Us' and their massive debut single 'Death', alongside new offerings from their latest album, 'To Lose My Life'.
Over at Zouk on Saturday, indie music night ‘Poptart’ celebrates its ninth birthday with keyboard dream pop band Au Revoir Simone headlining. Dress code: "Never lose that feline!"
Arts & culture
Asia’s largest street dance festival Radikal Forze Jam 2014 is celebrating its 16th anniversary. From 21 to 23 March, catch B-boy, hip-hop and freestyle battles over at the glass pavilion of Far East Square. There’ll be world-class dancing, banging tunes and an international crowd to start a party.

Over at the Jurong Regional Library, you may browse through videos, pictures and even publications from the Singapore Memory Project. Jurong Regional Library is open from Monday to Sunday, 10am to 9pm.
