After the solemn weekend that just past us by, some of us might not feel like starting this one with a party from the get go, so if that’s the vibe, check out Bartok at the Victoria Concert Hall on Friday courtesy of the Philharmonic Orchestra where folk melodies and Hungarian rhythms will distract your senses.
Once that is done, carry on with the same fervour over at Blu Jaz café with Good Times as this monthly edition features a quality blend of old school grooves, funky breaks and all-round boogie-worthy material.
If you feel like switching up to a higher tempo but retaining the lounge feel, then consider hitting up Zouk’s Wine Bar for Attagirl! Night where some of Singapore's best female DJ talents take over the decks.

Eric Volta at The Boiler Room
On Saturday, Club Kyō will be looking to make Saturday nights a Ritual for the masses starting with DJ Eric Volta’s appearance behind the decks. The native Londoner has amassed significant exposure globally.
That same day the folks at Potato Head Folk introduce you to DJ Eric ‘Dunks’ Duncan on their rooftop during the Sundown Circle Warm Up Party as he shows off his affinity with slow-mo disco, funk, techno and house. If you must do your research in order to find an excuse to head there just know that he is one half of legendary DJ/production duo called ‘Rub n Tug’ which first gained traction back in the mid 90’s, in New York City.
