From white collar boxing to a pillow fight on Haji lane, here’s what to check out this weekend.
If you’re up for a spot of white collar boxing, there’s Executive Knockout happening at M Hotel tonight. With both first-time fighters and those who have been training for years, the event features 14 fighters, both men and women, of all levels in seven fights across three weight categories.
Four-time Muay Thai and kickboxing heavyweight champion, and current ONE FC fighter, Alain “The Panther” Ngalani, will also be on hand to perform a martial arts combat demo. It will even have a pro- fight debut at the main event.
Music & Nightlife
South Korean pianist and composer Yiruma will be playing at the Star Performing Arts theatre this Saturday. His beautiful, soothing melodies have made it to popular Korean dramas such as ‘Secret Garden’ and ‘Spring Waltz’. He has also collaborated with K-pop stars like SHINee and 2AM.
Space Ibiza, widely considered one of the best clubs in the world, plays host to resident DJ Danny Marquez. The Spaniard, currently on a ‘Space Ibiza world tour’, will be spinning at Zouk this Saturday.
For a mind-expanding musical experience, electronic dance music duo Darkside, made up of Nicolas Jaar and Dave Harrington play at *SCAPE this Sunday. Singapore is one of only two Asian cities on their world tour. Event details here.

Haresh Sharma’s ‘Those Who Can’t Teach’ plays all this weekend, until 6 April. The play, about the perils of teachers and students in a typical secondary school environment is a restaging. Don’t miss it!

On Saturday, live out all your childhood fantasies by taking part in Singapore’s biggest pillow fight, ‘The Big Pillow Bash’, along Haji Lane. It’s International Pillow Fight Day, so bring soft pillows and participate in the madness from 3 to 5pm.
