Catch it before it ends this weekend! Blending hip-hop, street dance and circus acrobatics is Cirque Eloize, a contemporary urban circus production from Montreal.  The scene is set in the heart of a city, in a public space where people seek refuge, shed their anonymity, forge an identity and express individuality. Fifteen performers from 13 disciplines create iD’s entertaining and resolutely urban universe. 

Brit DJ and producer Rowan Tyler Jones (aka Route 94) brings his distinctive house sound to Velvet Underground this Friday for this month’s first Parallel night. Jeremy Boon supports.


Things get eclectic over at Kyo this Friday as Norwegian DJ Prins Thomasdishes out “space-disco”.

Promising three nights of groovy goodness is the return of Sing Jazz. On Friday, local music collective Darker than Wax curates a line-up that includes BADBADNOTGOOD, Taylor McFerrin and Hiatus Kiayote. Saturday sees homegrown soul favourite Charlie Lim, acid jazz act Incognito, saxophonist Candy Dulfer, and English crooner Joss Stone. Ending the fest on a high is Singaporean jazz cat Jeremy Monteiro, Italian jazz soloist Enrico Rava, the Buena Vista Social Club, and Seun Kuti and Egypt 80.

Boy Man band Take Thatis in Singapore this weekend to perform at the HSBC Women's Champions Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald will make their first appearance in Singapore in 21 years. Their one-off concert will also provide the backdrop for top golfers Lydia Ko, Paula Creamer and Park Inbee, who returns to defend her title. 

Check out Adrian Pang, Tan Kheng Hua and Nikki Muller in 'The Effect', a romantic drama written by British playwright Lucy Prebble. It received the United Kingdom's Critic's Circle Award for Best New Play in 2012.

Family friendly play 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar and Other Eric Carle Favourites' by Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia, Canada is back! This magical work of black light theatre brings together the beloved tales of award-winning children’s book illustrator and writer Eric Carle.

Get ready for a dose of funny when three-time Grammy and Emmy nominated comedian Margaret Chodole out the jokes this Saturday at Kallang Theatre.

Beijing People’s Art Theatre returns with yet another theatrical masterpiece, ‘Savage Land’, a classic work by the famous Chinese dramatist Cao Yu, starring movie star Hu Jun, and renowned actors Pu Cun Xin, Xu Fan and Lu Zhong, in a critically acclaimed staging by veteran director Chen Xinyi.

Discover the Berlin underground at DECK this weekend. ‘Club Berlin’ showcases photographs of Berlin’s ‘90s club culture by Martin Eberle and a media installation by Sven Marquardt with music by Marcel Dettmann.
