The trio of Singapore comedy theatre, Dim Sum Dollies, return with their 2007 critically acclaimed hit, 'The History of Singapore Part 1'. Gear up for a mad ride as the Dollies take you through the early days of Singapore, with appearances by Sang Nila Utama, Diva-licious samsui women and prematurely ejected kamikaze pilots.

Head out to Velvet Underground this Friday, where American deep house DJ/producer Dennis Ferrerdoles out his signature uplifting house music.

Fans of the late King of Pop will not want to miss 'The Ultimate Tribute to Michael Jackson' at Marina Bay Sands this weekend. The show will feature most of Jackson's greatest hits, from his early days with the Jackson Five to those from ‘Off The Wall’, ‘Thriller’ and ‘Dangerous’ albums.

SEA Games 2015officially open this weekend with 36 sports and 402 events around the island. As part of the 28th SEA Games Carnival, visitors may enjoy free rides on a hot air balloon (aged 18 and above, at least 1.4m tall) at the Singapore Sports Hub. Other activities include Zorb Bowling, Laser Tag and Hockey Golf.

'Live Spectacle Naruto' trailer

Anime characters Naruto, Sasuke and more come to life on stage this weekend in the musical, 'Live Spectacle Naruto' at Resorts Word Sentosa. The musical will feature drama, songs, dance and acrobatics in a bid to cover the manga’s story from its first to the 27th volume. 

The very messy and slimy 'Nickelodeon Slime Cup' is back at Downtown East in Pasir Ris. Take part in a soccer showdown, rockclimbing, obstacle courses or just get slimed on the Slime Throne.

Journey to the bottom of the ocean with 'The Deep', a new exhibition at the ArtScience Museum opening this weekend, and get a closer look at extremely rare specimens curated from marine expeditions.

On Saturday, join celebrated photographer Russel Wong at mobile company Oppo's flagship store at Suntec City, where he will offer photography tips to smartphone users. 


Nosaj Thing live in Los Angeles

Los Angeles-based electronica producer Jason Chung, aka Nosaj Thing, holds court with his crafty and stately soundscapes at Kyo this weekend.

For some fresh air, take out those picnic baskets and head to Opera in the Park. The Singapore Lyric Opera pays tribute to opera music in films such as ‘Superman Returns’, ‘2001: A Space Odyssey’, as well as music from cartoons including ‘Mickey Mouse’ and ‘Tom and Jerry’.
