Rise of the Phoenix, by The Necessary Stage's Theatre for Seniors programme, features two works: ‘Waste’ (written by Faith Ng and directed by Senior Associate Thomas Lim) and ‘Lost’ (written by Senior Associate Eleanor Song and directed by Peter Sau)Catch these seniors performing in plays under the mentorship of theatre professionals. 

Trace the journey of human evolution through a mix of mythology and science, Cirque du Soleil’s latest visual feast, ‘Totem’ has it all — from the exquisite costumes and stunning set to the phenomenal live band and impressive precision of its acrobatic feats.

Hop on over to The Star Theatre to catch South Korean composer-pianist Yirumaperform this Friday. Expect to hear Yiruma's signature tunes 'live' including his massively popular pieces ‘River Flows In You’, ‘Kiss The Rain’, ‘May Be’ and ‘Love Me’, which collectively have amassed over half a billion views online.

Based on the works of Dr. Seuss, Seussical the Musicalfeatures elements from the more popular books like ‘Horton Hears a Who’, ‘Green Eggs and Ham’ and ‘The Cat in the Hat’. Created by Tony Award winners Stephen Flaherty, Lynn Ahrens and Eric Idle, audiences can expect uplifting dance numbers, colourful costumes and quirky dialogue. 

Don’t miss this staging of a literary masterpiece ‘A Clockwork Orange’ which comes direct from the UK. Theatre company Action to the Word presents its testosterone-charged all-male version of the controversial Anthony Burgess classic, describeds as a “physical theatre horror show’.

Expect groovy house and techno tunes like ‘Reichenbach’, 'Tout Va Bien' and 'Skipper' when German DJ/producer Matthias Meyer gets behind the decks at Kyo on Saturday. Zig Zach supports.

Homegrown house hero Aldrin invades Kilo Lounge this weekend for another edition of hisOne with Aldrinflagship night. 


Relive the ‘90s! One of the highest grossing films of all time, supernatural hit Ghost’ gets reincarnated as a multi-award-nominated musical complete with cool effects to represent the titular spirit protagonist.

Celebrate the Mexican Day of the Dead at the biggest festival of its kind here at Dia De Muertos Singapore. Enjoy art and music performed by both Mexican and local artists, musicians, and treat yourself to gourmet Mexican cuisine as well. 

Fans of leather, luxury and all things Hermes will relish checking out the French label’s ‘Leather Forever’ (through 13 Dec) exhibition at the ArtScience Museum. The show features work from the past and present, including some from its latest collections, all crafted with the finest leather. Also, don’t miss its accompanying pop-up show Little Room of Wonders, out the Asian Civilisations Museum which displays more than 100 objects from the invitation-only private museum of Emile Hermes (the grandson of its founder Thierry Hermes).
