The Grid Girls tuck in

Wow, You better not be fussy with food if you want to set up dinner dates with the Grid Girls. They love dishes from every part of the World, from Italian to Indian. Angeline, on the other hand, just wants ice cream!

Angeline Tang

"I LOVE ice cream. I have a few top favourites places such as Island Creamery, Ben and Jerry’s, The Daily Scoop and U.d.d.e.r.s . The more ice cream I eat, the better."

Mabel Lau

"My favourite food is traditional dim sum. My favorite restaurant would be Royal China located at Raffles Hotel. The layout of the restaurant is unique and they play old Chinese songs which I find amusing and interesting. Another great thing with Royal China is that although you would expect the prices to be expensive due to the location, it is actually value for money as the dishes are simply mouth-watering!"

Linda Sim

"My favourite dish is Prata Bomb with lots of condensed milk and sugar. I have an ultra sweet tooth and this dish literally takes me to heaven and back! My favourite restaurant is Daawat Tandoori on Upper Thomson Road because I love the butter chicken with garlic nann there. The place always brings back wonderful memories of my days as a stewardess when I flew to Ahmedabad and had the nicest Indian cuisine ever. They offer value for money set meals coupled with tip top service too!"

"My favourite restaurant has to be Dian Xiao Er! The food is so yummy and affordable. It is also a place my whole family enjoys, so is wonderful for family occasions."

"My favourite dish is cheese ravioli pasta. The best place to eat ravioli is Ristorante Da Valentino in Mayfair Park. It is an amazing authentic family-run Italian restaurant."

Kelly Arrow Tan

"The only dish I ever crave is salmon sashimi. To get my fix I usually go to Sushi Tei."
