1: Music fans: Attend Gigs / Concerts

April is a month for music fans to go wild and maybe even broke, considering the amount of fantastic bands that are heading to Singapore.

EnChancers / Greysonators, you can finally have your share of excitement as your idol will be performing in Singapore! Greyson Chance will be heading to Singapore for his first concert in the region. If you’re tired of listening to his songs only on the radio, now’s the Chance to catch him ‘Live’! Fans and music lovers alike should definitely attend this concert considering how talented he is in singing and covering Lady Gaga’s 'Paparazzi' (18 April).

L'arc En Ciel highlights

Since their debut in 1991, fans have been waiting for so long for the legendary band to perform in Singapore. Years of waiting has paid of as L’arc En Ciel heads to Singapore for their 2012 World Tour! For the first time ever, the Japanese band will be stepping on Singapore grounds and rocking us with their chart topping hits like “Heaven’s Drive” and most recently, “XXX”. It’s their 20th L’Anniversary Tour and a perfect one for their first time in Singapore. (28 April)

Metalcore fans, the fantastic lineup of BlessTheFall and August Burns Red back to back in one night will definitely leave you begging for more! Mosh and headbang at the epic lineup as ABR and BTF destroys the stage with their heavy riffing and hair-raising vocals.

2: Unwind at clubs and pubs

A lot of nightlife activities are happening this April; party goers can prepare night-after-night of partying and unwinding!

Head on down to Pioneer Digital DJ Battle Supported by Marcus. Witness aspiring DJ’s battle it out and become the DJ to represent Singapore in the Asia Pioneer Digital Battle. It’s going to be a night of competition and awesome music as DJ’s vie against one another to stand out. (11 April)

Poptart is back with DJ’s Jah, Weelikeme & Jinmart will definitely keep you going hot, sweaty and love-dovey all night. Uniting all indie music lovers, this occasion definitely keeps you addicted and fixed to the dance floor all night. (28 Apr)Your favourite international DJs Arno Cost and Hong will be DJing at Zouk as well as Afrojack and Bobby Burns! Be entertained with catchy and their very own unique beats all night. (5 Apr & 6 Apr)

 

3: Keep fit!

Bricking It: The essentials of brick training

Time to show off those new moves you learnt at the gym.

Support local basketball team Singapore Slingers as they play against international teams at the ASEAN Basketball League happening on the 1, 22 and 29 April.

Nike Goddess 5K is happening at Wave House Sentosa and only females are allowed to participate in the race. If you haven’t already registered, do so by 30 March, or go on down to support your family and friends to witness some girl power as they run to complete the 5km run. (14 April)

Head on down to Bishan Stadium to support youths at the 7th SEA Youth Championship 2012! Watch various sporting events like the javelin, shot put, pole vault, long jump, triple jump and various sprinting events. (28 – 29 April)

 

4: Spend time as a family

Family action, exhibitions and more... for free!

With Easter falling on the month of April, various activities are lined up for you and your little ones. Go on an Easter egg hunt at Downtown East. Enjoy a fun filled day of games and activities as your kids run around to hunt for Easter eggs! There’s more than $8400 worth of prizes to be won (7 April).

Have a family meal at the Easter Sunday Buffet Brunch! Be entertained with the egg and carving stations, indulge in four plated main courses and wide spread of dessert. The little ones are not forgotten as there are egg decorating and face painting activities as well as goodiebags.
