Another new week is here, and that just means more time for some holiday fun! This week, cosy up with the animals or go on some guided tours to find out more about the wonderful biodiversity surrounding us!

So don’t wait, let’s get started!

 

 

 

 

CAN'T MISS

It’s fun times galore down by the Singapore Zoo, with Zoo Hoo Adventures (until Sun, Dec 19) going on at full swing. Kids get to try their hands at role-playing as vets zookeepers, wildlife photographers and more!

For Christmas with a unique twist, the Night Safari also doesn’t disappoint (until Dec 31). Its specially-arranged Christmas Expedition includes a private tour of the park in a personal festive buggy, with a chance to get up close and personal with the nocturnal animals.

VIP treatment, best seats in the house at the Creatures of the Night Show, an exclusive audience with the merry Asian elephants, guided walking trails and a private festive photography session with some very special animal friends – what more are you waiting for?

For other animal encounters, check out the Creatures in Nature Drama Workshop (Tue, Dec 14) or the Native Marine Mammals Workshop (Fri, Dec 17).

 

 

If your kids are piqued with curiosity by rustic surrounds, take them on a Guided Walk at the Sensory Trail in Pulau Ubin (Sat, Dec 18) where they’ll be enveloped in nature. They’ll also get to touch, see, smell and identify various fruit trees, spices and herbs, medicinal plans and more!

Another similar tour would be the Plants and their Uses Guided Tour (Wed, Dec 15) for you to get up close and personal with the flora around us. It’s time to learn more about them!

For kids who enjoy close encounters with nature, take them on the Nature Keeper Program (Sat, Dec 18) which brings them to explore our forests and natural heritage on a more interactive level.

Lastly to round up the week, don’t miss the fascinating Heritage on the Hill tour (Sat, Dec 18), which takes your little ones on a tour around the Fort Canning Hill while pointing out reminders of Singapore’s rich cultural past. There’s also an option to go on a tour of the Fort Canning Spice Trail!
