One of Pattaya’s most flamboyant and extravagant shows is showing at The Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel this weekend (Rated R18; 13-14 April). The gender-bending Tiffany’ Cabaret Showbrings awesome costumes, fantastic dance moves and effects in a two-night soiree. Read more about it here.

Dance music’s influential label Renaissance celebrates 20 years of doling out the heart-stopping beats. One half of Berlin stalwart house duo M.A.N.D.Y., Patrick Bodmer leads the celebration at Zouk this Friday (13 April) alongside resident Hong.

Experience the wonder, suspense and joy of Cirque Mother Africa (12-15 April, Esplanade Theatre). Having performed sold out shows to millions in Germany, Italy, Romania, Russia, Netherlands, Australia, Belgium and Spain, be dazzle and mesmerised with 2 full hours of high power live African music, dance and performance! Dancers, percussionists, singers, acrobats and contortionists energetically take on the stage in a celebration of the modern and traditional culture of African continent. Ivan Heng, renowned for his innovative and vivid productions, puts a fresh new spin on Shakespeare’s enduring romantic tragedy, Romeo & Juliet (12-28 April). Presented by Wild Rice, starring Hansel Tan as Romeo and Julie Wee as Juliet. Also in the cast are Lim Kay Siu, Neo Swee Lin, Lim Yu-Beng and Brendon Fernandez, among others.

'Mesentery' - Bitch Magnet

Head down to Home Club this Friday to catch Bitch Magnet. Formed in 1986, Bitch Magnet has reunited after a long break, and will perform their first-ever Singapore show. Also appearing on stage is Singapore post-rock act Amateur Takes Control. April 13, 8pm, Home Club.
