Go retro with Alphaville this weekend

Take a step back in time to the 80s with music from the good old days courtesy of Wang Chung, Tiffany, Howard Jones and Alphaville at Retrolicious 2012. This year's theme is "Class Reunion" and the biggest group of ex-classmates at the event will win complimentary drinks and a chance to groove with the artists.

Start the weekend a little early, on Thursday and Avalon. British indie band Spector is brings its chic brand of music to Singapore. Nominated for BBC’s Sound Of 2012 Poll these guys are going places fast.

The Archifest 2012 kicks off this weekend, see the city through a new lense every Fri, Sat and Sun in October. Our picks for this weekend -  Leaf. v0.12; which is a sculpture made of recycled magazines and The Pool is Closed, an exhibit of photos of swimming complexes of yesteryears.
