It was a red carpet fit for any princess at the American debut of 'Cinderella'.
Chandeliers hung down over the likes of Cate Blanchett and Lily James as they arrived at the ball-themed premiere.
Disney's latest movie is a modern retelling of the classic fairytale, where Ella goes from rags to riches and finds her Prince thanks to the help of her Fairy Godmother.
Blanchett stars as the wicked stepmother and it's a role she revelled in playing.
"You know, right from when we come out of the womb, we're told to be kind and good and nice and sweet and generous and empathetic, all those things Cinderella is and the stepmother isn't, and so it's really fun when you get to do all of those things bound up in one character," Blanchett said.
The film could be seen as Lily James' big break into the movie world after starring in the TV series 'Downton Abbey' as Lady Rose.
And it sounds like she learned a lot from her co-stars.
"Just to be around people like Cate Blanchett and Helena Bonham-Carter, they teach you, I think, not only to be a better actress but really great women and I'm so inspired.
"And then to have Ken Branagh as my director and I'm working with him again soon, so it's all really great," James said.
'Cinderella' is hitting Singapore cinemas 12 March 2015
It's the first of several Disney live-action films, with another classic, 'The Jungle Book', due to follow in 2016.
