The younger versions of Storm, Jean Grey and Cyclops have been cast in 'X-Men: Apocalypse'.
Director Bryan Singer announced on Twitter that Alexandra Shipp will play Storm, Sophie Turner will take on Jean, and Tye Sheridan will star as Cyclops.
"Meet our new and brilliant young mutants," the director tweeted.
Turner, 18, best known for her role as Sansa Stark in HBO TV series 'Game of Thrones', is the most recognisable name among the three, while 18-year-old Sheridan was in 2012's coming-of-age drama 'Mud' and Terrence Malick's 'The Tree of Life'.
Shipp, 24, is a relative newcomer to the big screen, and is perhaps best known as KT Rush in the Nickelodeon mystery show 'House of Anubis'.
The trio will be stepping into the leather-and-spandex costumes of the older versions of their characters in the original X-Men trilogy (and last year's brilliant time-bender 'Days of Future Past'), played by Halle Berry (Storm), Famke Janssen (jean Grey) and James Marsden (Cyclops).
