 Rachel: My favourite dish is char siew noodles at Tiong Bahru Market. The char siew there is fantastic - I like my char siew fatty and slightly charred and crispy on the outside! Yummy! As for a favourite local rice dish, it's got to be chicken rice. I've been eating it at Pow Sing Restaurant in Serangoon Gardens since I was a kid and the quality never drops. A must try!
Assumpta: My favourite local dish has got to be wanton mee, and where better to have it than at Fei Fei Wanton Mee on Joo Chiat Road. The best part is that the place is open 24 hours so you can have it anytime you are craving for it!
